The After School Program provides a great service to 300 children per year, with tutoring, computer training, sports, dance and cultural programs at no cost to families.
TNDC is one of the top affordable housing developers in the nation. Affordable Housing Magazine voted it the No. 29 on its list of the 50 best low-income developers of 2008 after it completed two big projects in the Bay Area, and made palpable progress on pushing a handful of others through the pipeline.
TNDC does more than any other company in the Bay Area to take people off the streets and put them into homes. For this reason I’ve helped support the TNDC’s after school program so those living in these communities can be sure their kids have the opportunity to have fun and grow into well-rounded adults.
To me, TNDC means responsible capitalism. And it’s working.
