FAMSF/de Young Museum

A unique education program that uses the museum’s collections to provide public school teachers with exciting classroom resources designed for state mandated social science, language and visual arts.

If you’ve ever stepped foot inside the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, then you know why I consider it one of my favorite institutions to support. Not only are the revamped grounds absolutely breathtaking, but the collections make it one of the undisputed great museums in this country.

That’s why I’ve contributed to a number of programs provided by the museum that encourage kids to appreciate the great art offered on the grounds, and help them appreciate social sciences in general.
