SFMOMA

As a Director’s Circle member and collector of important 20th century art, one of the privileges of being a San Francisco resident is supporting one of the world’s most innovative museums.

San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art was the first museum on the West Coast dedicated exclusively to 20th century art when it opened in 1935. Now it’s one of many, but no less unique among California’s institutions of art. Occupying the remarkable Mario Botta-designed building in the SoMa district of San Francisco, SFMOMA houses important works by Jackson Pollock, Paul Klee, Marcel Duchamp, Ansel Adams and many other big names of the 20th century.

SFMOMA is on the cutting edge when it comes to exhibiting art to the citizens of Northern California. Check out the sleek website (where the entire collection is available for your enjoyment) if you don’t believe me. For this reason I’ll be associated with this museum for a long time to come.
