Exxon, one of the world’s leading oil producers, posted a huge loss Thursday, with its revenues dropping to $3.95 billion from $11.68. The main reason for the loss was the worldwide bottoming of oil prices, leading many analysts to read these numbers as another sign of the necessary shift towards sustainable fuels.
